The Gold Coast Burleigh Golf Club is an oasis of calm amongst the lively streets of beachside Miami and nearby Burleigh Heads. Whether you are a golf enthusiast or casual player, you can escape the local shopping, surfing and dining distractions to the serenity of manicured fairways at the Club's 18-hole course.
Located just 10 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 15 minutes from Coolangatta Airport, Miami makes a great base from which you can appreciate the Gold Coast. Many Gold Coast theme parks are within a 30-minute drive along the highway, including Wet n' Wild, Movie World and Dreamworld.
Irrespective of your level of experience, Gold Coast Burleigh Golf Club's par 71 course will challenge your game. Be careful to avoid the water hazards and trees lining the fairways.
If you're feeling competitive, sign up for one of the daily competitions, including ladies, men's, mixed or medley events. Social play is also on offer daily. The Club requests social players hold current Australian Golf Union (AGU) or Women's Golf Australia (WGA) handicaps, or equivalent international standards. Membership packages are available for everyone from regular competition players to casual social players.
Utilise the professional practice facilities and tuition on offer at the Club to enhance your game. Practice fairways, driving nets, putting greens and bunkers are available, as is tuition from professional staff.
After a few satisfying rounds of golf, visit the Clubhouse bar and bistro to complete your oasis experience. After this relaxing stop, you might feel ready to rejoin the buzzing metropolis of Miami.
